Триетапний геноцид: демонічний план знищення людства Three Stage Genocide: The Demonic Plan to Destroy Mankind

 

Євангельське читання про звільнення людини, біснуватої Легіоном, є гарною нагодою для нас поміркува́ти над проблемою демонів у нашому повсякденному житті. Ми схильні завжди скидати з рахунків вплив духовного світу та його важливість, оскільки він не може бути сприйнятий безпосередньо органами почуттів. Тим не менш, ми знаємо зі Святого Письма і Традиції, що все без винятку, що не так з людьми, в кінцевому підсумку приписується дії демонів, будь то фізична хвороба чи інвалідність, чи моральні недоліки та гріховні пороки. Ми можемо зрозуміти цей факт конкретно, якщо представити стосунки між людською расою та демонічною у термінах, знайомих і навіть сучасних. Нам, звичайно, слід пам’ятати, що, згідно з твердженням Господа Ісуса, люди, які перебувають під владою демонів, роблять вчинки, які сумісні з діями демонів.

The Gospel reading regarding the liberation of the man possessed by the Legion is a good opportunity for us to meditate on the problem of demons in our daily life. We tend to always discount the influence of the spiritual world and its importance, because it cannot be perceived directly by the senses. Nevertheless, we know from Scripture and Tradition that everything without exception that is wrong with human beings is ultimately attributable to the action of demons, whether it be physical illness or disability or moral failings and sinful vices. We can understand this fact in a concrete way if we cast the relationship between the human race and the demonic in terms that are familiar and even contemporary. We should, of course, bear in mind that, according to the dictum of the Lord Jesus, human beings that are under the demons' sway do works that are congruent with the demons' works.

Перш за все, можна зрозуміти, що завдяки дії демонів у світ був занесений смертоносний збудник. Цим збудником є сама смерть. Через обман демонів Смерть вперше увійшла в досвід людини. Людські істоти направили всю свою енергію на намагання уникнути смерті, хоча це неминуче в рамках обмежень людської природи.

First of all, we can understand that, through the action of demons, a deadly pathogen was introduced into the world. That pathogen is Death itself. Through the deception of the demons, Death first entered the experience of human beings. Human beings turned all their energy to the endeavor of avoiding death, although it is unavoidable within the limitations of human nature.

Але потім демони запропонували прищепи́ти людей Смерті, первинному збуднику, через пристрасті, особливо хтивість, обжерливість і гнів. Завдяки гонитві за задоволенням люди можуть мати ілюзію безсмертя через пом’якшення болю. З іншого боку, гнів дав людям відчуття сили, що мало подібний ефект.

Yet, the demons then offered to inoculate human beings to Death, the original pathogen, through the passions, especially lust, gluttony and anger. Through the pursuit of pleasure, human beings could have the illusion of immortality through the mitigation of pain. Anger, on the other hand, gave human beings the sensation of power, which had a similar effect.

Центральна проблема «прищеплень», які здійснюються через пристрасті, полягає в тому, що вони були неефекти́вними або, в кращому випадку, тимчасово ефективними, оскільки задоволення виявилося завжди або відсутнім, або відсутнім незабаром. Тим не менш, переважна більшість людей була обдурена лай́ками цих неефективних, але паліативних «щеплень».

The central problem with the "inoculations" provided through the passions is that they were ineffective or, at best, temporarily effective, since pleasure proved to be always either absent or soon to be absent. Nevertheless, the great majority of human beings were deceived by the blandishments of these ineffective but palliative "inoculations."

Проте були люди, які, розуміючи неефективність обжерливості, хтивості та гніву, щоб справді пом’якшити смерть і дарувати життя, вирішили відмовитися від «щеплень» і практикувати чесноти поміркованості, цнотливості та мужності. Ці люди розуміли, що смерть у будь-якому випадку їхня доля, але свобода від рабства пристрастям вартувала переживання значного болю.

There were human beings, however, who, understanding the ineffectiveness of gluttony, lust and anger to truly mitigate death and give life, decided to forgo the "inoculations" and practice the virtues of temperance, chastity and fortitude. These people understood that death was their lot in any case, but freedom from the slavery to the passions was worth the experience of considerable pain.

Тим не менш, демони мали план навіть для тих людей, які уникали «прищеплень» пристрастей, зберігаючи свободу від створених речей, таких як їжа, секс і влада. Демони випустили у світ другого збудника, який одразу привів до духовної смерті всіх таких людей: подальші пристрасті гордості й марнославства. Таким чином, ті, хто відмовлявся зануритися в плоть, все одно загинули через свою гордість.

Nevertheless, the demons had a plan even for those human beings who eschewed the "inoculations" of the passions, maintaining their freedom from created things like food, sex and power. The demons released a second pathogen into the world that immediately led to the spiritual death of all such people: the further passions of pride and vainglory. Thus, those who refused to immerse themselves in carnality perished anyway due to their pride. 

Отже, ми маємо картину геноциду в три етапи, який вороги людства безперервно проводять у світі. Перший етап мав спричинити неминучу смерть людства через обман наших прабатьків в Едемі. Другим етапом було спотворення нашої волі, спокушаючи нас шукати полегшення від болю і смерті через задоволення. Це «щеплення» було неефективним і поневоливим. Деякі люди відмовлялися від спокус демонів, але вони не могли уникнути подальших спонукань демонів до пороків гордості й марнославства. Таким чином, вся людська раса була саботована і знищена ретельно розробленою тактикою їхніх надприродних старійшин.

We have therefore a picture of a three stage genocide, which the enemies of mankind continuously wage upon the world. The first stage was to cause the inevitable death of mankind through the deception worked upon our first parents in Eden. The second stage was to pervert our wills, tempting us to seek relief from pain and death through pleasure. This "inoculation" was ineffective and enslaving. Some human beings refused the temptations of the demons, but they could not escape the demons’ further inducements to the vices of pride and vainglory. Thus, the whole human race was sabotaged and undone by the carefully crafted tactics of their preternatural elders.

Єдиним рішенням проблеми цього демонічного втручання в наше життя є Сам Христос, бо Христос, ставши людиною для нашого спасіння, знищив Смерть, коли Він повернувся до життя при Своєму воскресінні. Смерть є коренем усієї демонічної змови, і смерть повністю переможена воскресінням Господа Ісуса з мертвих.

The only solution to the problem of this demonic interference in our life is Christ Himself, because Christ, having become man for our salvation, destroyed Death when He returned to life at His resurrection. Death is the root of the entire demonic conspiracy, and Death is defeated utterly by the Lord Jesus' resurrection from the dead.

Господь Ісус шукає нас, як Він шукав чоловіка з Легіоном у Євангелії, що читається сьогодні. Він шукає нас «по той бік», у ворожій території, окупованій та контрольованій демонами. Там Він виганяє демонів і робить ставку на територію, яка раніше була під їхнім контролем. Це суть Євангелія, Доброї Новини́. Всесвіт, так довго керований демонічними силами, тепер має нового Правителя. Старого правителя та його прихильників вигнали. Наш обов’язок, як підданих нового Правителя, стати на бік, заявити про нашу лояльність до Нового режиму, а потім жити як вірні піддані нового Правителя, Який нас звільнив. Для цього ми повинні прийняти тверді рішення припинити будь-яку співпрацю з демонічними арміями, що відступають.

The Lord Jesus seeks us out as He did the man with the Legion in the Gospel reading today. He seeks us "on the other side," the enemy territory occupied and controlled by demons. There, He casts out the demons and stakes His claim to the territory formerly under their control. This is the essence of the Gospel, the Good News. The universe, having been ruled for so long by the demonic forces, now has a new Ruler. The old ruler and his minions have been cast out. It is our responsibility as subjects of the new Ruler to get on side, to declare our loyalty to the New Regime and then live as faithful subjects of the new Ruler Who has liberated us. In order to do this, we have to make firm resolutions to cease cooperating in any way with the retreating demonic armies.
